FEARLESS Publisher Arian Simone interviewed DeShawn Snow regarding her upcoming children’s book series “Lil Shawnee.” Snow discussed how little girls will be able to relate to the “Lil Shawnee” books and why girls having good self-esteem is important to their development and accomplishing their goals in life. She also spoke about how the character Shawnee is loosely based on her life.
A New Venture: Arian Simone Beauty Products
Hi Everyone!
Well this is the final blog for my course, but I will continue to blog as I have truly enjoyed this enriching experience. I will continue to keep you informed as we approach the fabulous “Dine in the Den” event. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge my team members who are making this event to be a grand affair; Niki Timmons, Jocelyn Coleman, and Kelly Davis are a dynamic event coordinators who have put in hours of dedicated work with results, I thank you all greatly!
A future endeavor I am looking forward to is the launch of my beauty product line, Arian Simone Presents: The Esther Experience, “Treat Yourself Like the Queen You Are”. It’s an all-natural product line. Many know of the story in the Bible of Queen Esther, she was known for her beauty treatments. The first 2 products we are introducing are our Mango Body Butter and Oatmeal Milk N’ Honey Sugar Scrub. Thus far I have been allowing friends and family members to try out the products to get feedback, and so far everyone is in love with the products.
We officially launch at the Bronner Bros Show in Atlanta, August 20, 2011. I am so excited to see how the attendees receive the product, because when developing any product your customers determine your next move. It’s really an exciting time for me, I have done many ventures, but for some reason I have never been this high off a new project the way I am about this one. God has opened more doors than I can count, and He has gone above what I could have ever imagined this would be!
If there is a product out there that you want to launch I encourage you to just take the first step and God will open the doors for you to walk through. As you continue to work He will continue to work, you cannot out beat God’s work as you work, prepare to be amazed! He does exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we can ask or think!

Trusting God’s Plan!
Hi Everyone!
I had to blog about how the SPRING Cover of FEARLESS came about, originally we were holding the cover for one couple, well the date of their shoot kept getting pushed back, so then we moved to another set of people, we scheduled a cover shoot and as far as our team could see we were all set to go. Day of the cover shoot, the talent’s management lets us know they had been double booked and greatly apologize but they have to cancel for the day. I was not anxious or disturbed by the news, and from previous cover experiences, I have learned to trust God’s plan!
Maisha Oliver, my hairstylist and Fearless Editor at Large, suggested we get a backup because we are on a time schedule. Maisha asked her client, Khloe Kardashian Odom if her and her husband would do it, she explained to her what was going on, she asked Khloe if she had remembered me, she said yes I know Arian have her email me, we will do it! I was ESCTATIC!!!!
Though I didn’t know when the cancelation of our cover shoot happened who our cover would be, I knew God had a plan! God’s plan definitely was bigger than our original plan or plans. Lamar and Khloe were more than awesome to work with! They both have such great spirits.
It’s amazing how God moves, here we went through all those changes, and of course I am more than excited with God’s choice!!!!!

Radical Redefined from Fear to Faith
Today I was honored by Creflo and Taffi Dollar’s ministry. Taffi Dollar hosted her Annual Women’s Conference, this year’s theme Radical Redefined- From Fear to Faith. I was blessed to be 1 of 10 finalist out of hundreds for their Radi Awards.
While I was there, a young woman in their media department asked me to do an interview, she asked me to share my testimony which you can find on this website on the Intimacy Blog under “My Testimony! Living My Dreams”. After sharing my testimony, she asked me if I could go back in time and advise the girl (me) in 2004, what advice would I give her. Immediately I got emotional and cried.
In tears, I said I would tell her to know her self-worth, and that self-worth is something you are born with and no one can take that from you. I would tell her that her situation had nothing to do with her value, that she is valuable from birth because she is a child of God. That through all the rejection she was receiving not being able to find a job that God always has something better in store when rejection arises. I would tell her God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Most importantly, I would have to reiterate how important it is for her to know her worth and that her worth is far above rubies!
